Richard Hartzenberg has more than 15 years experience in the Construction Industry of which the last 4 years has been in the UAE. He worked for both local and International companies during his tenure in the UAE.

Prior to moving to the UAE he worked for major contracting companies in Southern Africa in positions as Site Manager, Site Engineer, QA/QC Officer, Senior Quantity Surveyor and Managing Quantity Surveyor.

Richard has pre and post-contract experience and has worked with various international companies on construction projects. He has experience in Civil Engineering works which includes some of the biggest project undertaken in Sub-Saharan Africa. He also has experience in the International Building Industry both as a Contractor and Consultant.

He holds a professional qualification in Construction Management and is also qualified in Civil Engineering with valuable experience in Contract Management and Administration.

Magnus De Jongh has more than 8 years experience in the Public Service in South Africa of which the last 6 years has been on Middle Management level. He worked with all spheres of government (national, provincial and local). Magnus is a specialist in the area of development communications and public participation.


Magnus recently completed a Senior Management Development Programme as well as a Advanced Management Programme through the University of Stellenbosch Business School.

Other qualification and skills include – Protocol Training aswell as Development of Lifeskills for Community Based Organisations. Magnus is currently the Country Director for Kids Voting South Africa, a NGO focussing on civic and voter education amongst learners and students in South Africa.
Magnus is also a registered volunteer for the United Nations Volunteer Programme.
